Brewing locally, seasonally, and in step with our community.
Harding House began with Nate Underwood, who started homebrewing in 2012 after college.
From the beginning, Nate's approach blended a love of local agriculture with thoughtful, seasonal brewing. What started in a Nashville home eventually grew into a hyper-local brewery rooted in The Nations neighborhood. Our first taproom served the community for five years. Our second taproom is opening in L&L Market in Spring 2026.
On top of getting ready to open a new taproom, we're still distributing our beer throughout Tennessee. Find out where to buy it here.

Brewing is a creative act, and we want to honor the goodness of creation by how we care about every ingredient - where it comes from and the people behind it. That desire led us to our mission: to craft thoughtful, artisanal beer and use it as a way to strengthen community, foster fellowship, and grow sustainably.
In practice, this means:
As a Nashville-based brewery, we are committed to investing in the place we call home. This means creating quality jobs, supporting local agriculture, and contributing to a healthier and more resilient local economy.
Seasonal, local ingredients are the foundation of our brewing philosophy. By working with what is available throughout the year, we challenge ourselves to brew creatively and responsibly. Building lasting relationships with farmers across Tennessee and the greater Southeast allows us to bring a true farm-to-pint approach to our beer.
All are welcome, always. Whether it's in our taproom or wherever our beer is shared, we believe beer has a unique ability to bring people together, break down barriers, and inspire community.
Our employees are essential to our mission. We are committed to fostering a collaborative, challenging, and supportive work environment, and to paying fair, living wages that honor the value of their work.
We will always brew the highest quality beer, but our pursuit of excellence will never end. Participating in creation is always ongoing! Our brewery is not a finished product, but instead is always growing to be made into something new. Expanding in size, styles, ingredients, and providers is part of our ever-changing DNA.
Nashville is home to many non-profits and organizations that bring about positive change to those in need. We give back to the community through product donations, fundraisers, charity pints and more. Wherever there is an opportunity to help out our brothers and sisters, we plan to be a part of it.
