About Harding House Brewing Co.

Uniquely Brewed in Nashville, TN

Nashville’s brewery scene is booming. We are excited to join those who paved the way for craft beer. Join us in our endeavor to tell stories through the beer we brew and improve the world around us by brewing locally, seasonally and creatively.

The name traces its roots back to the nickname given to a house on Harding Place here in Nashville where Nate lived after graduating from college. It is also the place where the inspiration for this brewery originated. Throughout the development process of the brewery, many things changed, but the name remained constant. To the people now involved with Harding House Brewing Co., the name represents more than a single location on a map or a single group of individuals. It represents a growing community seeking to affirm the good things in life over a pint. Read more.

What does it look like to participate in creation by thoughtfully brewing artisanal beer that declares creation’s goodness & to be a place where beer is used as a tool to grow community and where fellowship thrives.

  • To embody these values in the beer we make and the brewery we operate
  • To invest in the local community
  • To purchase local, southern ingredients whenever possible and viable
  • To prioritize paying fair, living wages to employees
  • To be faithful stewards of what we have been given
  • To give away part of what we make for the benefit of others
  • To create a gathering place for the community
  • Beer is a key element to the community, conversation, and the shared table we are trying to create. However, beer is not the be-all, end-all.
  • To share a beer with someone is to break bread with them; a sign of peace and fellowship.
  • The collective is stronger than the individual; brewing needs a team. Community inspires community.
  • Brewing calls for passion.
  • Local adjuncts play an important role for “community focused beer.” This means emphasizing local terroir and celebrating seasonality.
  • The best beer is the one in season.
  • Taking part in creation demands brewing creative, imaginative beers.
  • The final product must be delicious.
